CEEA 2015 Call for Papers
The Canadian Engineering Education Association’s Annual Conference – CEEA2015 will be held at the McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario from May 31 to June 3, 2015. All areas of engineering education research and practice are invited, but we would like to theme the broader discussion around what experimental education means for our students. This conference offers a unique venue for academics and practitioners to discuss recent trends in engineering education and education research. The conference includes workshops, plenary sessions and technical sessions.
Papers may be submitted on evidence-based, research-based and practice-based topics. To help guide the classification we are adopting Boyer’s framework whereby the scholarship of teaching may be defined by the union of:
- Scholarship of discovery
- Scholarship of application
- Scholarship of integration
Workshop and panel proposals on the following topics are welcome:
- Experiential Education for Engineers
- Education Research Methods
- Education Research Instrument Design
- I’m new, where do I begin? (New Member Mentoring)
