Description of the 2025 Institute for Engineering Teaching (IET)

Description of the 2025 Institute for Engineering Education Research (IEER)

As you know, ASEE will be holding their annual conference immediately after ours, from June 22nd to the 25th, at the Montréal Convention Center. This is the first time our conferences coincide like this, presenting opportunities for new and exciting collaborations.

One such opportunity is to attend the opening day of the ASEE conference, on Sunday the 22nd. There will be a lot of events happening, including their own workshop sessions, an exhibition hall, a job fair, opening presentations, and the “Taste of Montreal” event. As a special note, six CEEA-ACÉG workshops have been selected to represent our Association in the ASEE workshop sessions, so you may see some familiar faces at the event showcasing some of the excellent work that we do in Canada!

ASEE has provided a special 1-day registration fee of 200USD for interested CEEA-ACÉG members to attend the Sunday sessions. To register: 1. Create an account at https://nemo.asee.org/, or log into your existing account

2. Register for the full conference (they don’t typically offer 1-day registrations), using the promo code CEEA25. This should show the correct price of 200USD. Please note that despite the line that will appear on the invoice, this discounted registration fee will only give you access to the Sunday program.

Once registered you will be able to build your schedule for the day on their platform, including registering for the workshops you are interested in. Please note that workshops are “ticketed” and may have limited seating, and that although most are free, some may charge extra fees to cover delivery costs. So, if you intend to attend a workshop, it’s a good idea to reserve your tickets sooner rather than later.
